Emissions reduction
that generates revenue
We're building a device that captures a semi-truck's carbon emissions directly from the tailpipe.
Our device will mount on the back of the truck, attach to its tailpipe, and filter the carbon emissions out of its exhaust.
The driver will offload the captured, compressed CO2 while they refuel.
Then, we'll sell our high-purity, liquid CO2 to end-users, or sell credits for permanently sequestering it underground in EPA-certified wells.
We'll share the revenue from the captured CO2 with our customers, so the device will create a new revenue stream for our customers while reducing their emissions.
Get in touchOur device will bolt onto a Class 8 tractor and attach to the outlet of its aftertreatment system. Our mounting system will be designed to make no permanent changes that affect the operation of the truck. 1 Our device will fit between the back of the tractor and the front of the trailer, and it will not impact the turning radius of the tractor. 2
Our device will act like a giant filter, using carbon scrubbing technology to filter CO2 out of the exhaust. The captured CO2 is automatically compressed and stored in onboard tanks. 1 If the tanks fill up before the driver gets a chance to offload the captured CO2, the device will automatically bypass so the truck can keep rolling. 2 Our device will be partially powered by the truck's exhaust heat, minimizing its impact on the truck's fuel economy. It will also be designed to never exceed the allowable back pressure on the truck's engine.
Drivers will dump the captured CO2 by connecting the device to an offload tank with a hose. Offloading will be designed to take less time than it takes to refuel. 1 For round trips, we'll install offload tanks at customers' distribution centers, and for long-haul routes, offload tanks are coming to a truck stop near you. Once an offload tank fills up, we'll pick up the high-purity, liquid CO2 with a tanker truck and deliver it to end-users or permanently sequester it underground in an EPA-certified well.
